Safiya Shannen's first photo shoot @ the Baby Ultrasound Company
Today the whole family woke up early and excited because this is the day where we will get to see Peanut's 4D ultrasound and know the gender. Lola and Lola woke up earlier than Mom and Dad and Peanut. Prepared breakfast, dressed up ready to go to SM North for the Ultrasound. Ok so we are over reacting (first timers).
Off to SM North...
We are booked to be scanned at 12nn. We arrive the center 1 hour early. The doctor was early as well so after the first preggy mom next is me and my lil peanut... so at 11am we are preparing for the scan. Inside goes lola, lolo, daddy volt and me. We find out the we will be having a lil GIRL!!! We named her Safiya Shannen, nick will be IYA.
At first she was asleep. I drank mango shake before the scan so that we'll see her move. So after a while of scanning there she goes with her little hand waving and moving her fingers... as if she is waving at the audiences... aba artista!
To cut the long story short....we saw her chew, swallow, move her lips, show her fingers and hands (playing close open), do acrobatics (put her legs up high to her head, and yawn (many times).

This is me today....
since wednesday i feel bad....dizzy and so tired.
belly is getting heavier everyday...
yesterdat i cried after i go home because for 1 whole day i did not feel my baby move.
BUT when daddy came home, peanut moved! he/she is just waiting for daddy to come home.

Belly Update : Sept 27, 2008
Here's another belly update. I'm getting bigger and bigger while baby is getting bigger too!
Peanut moves around already...kicking...punching...at no particular time.

Hello everybody. I hope you had a nice day today.
I just wanna share this wonderful experience my baby shared to me lately. Peanut is quiet before. There was a time when I felt like he/she moved, i called it a "twitch" or a "butterfly" kinda feeling then it stopped for quite a while. Suddenly i don't feel anything at all. It kinda worried me because I read from many forums and articles that I am suppose to feel my baby move at this time. By the way, I am now turning 5 months pregnant on Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Continue on... I never felt my peanut move until this weekend.
I am very happy when I felt peanut moved. It's not yet a very remarkable move but I felt it is different from what i felt before. Its nothing like a butterfly. I imagine sometimes that peanut is poking my tummy or kinda massage is gently. I dunno if it's the hands or the feet that moved.
Last night I was so excited, I asked my hubby to press on gently on my tummy and wait for peanut to react. Peanut moved and amazingly hubby felt it too. We are so excited!!!
I will update you guys soon. My next OBgyn check is on Saturday. Dra. Zamora will be listening to peanut's heartrate again and perhaps gonna give me a shot (i dunno what for) but I think it is for immunization.

My Little Peanut's 16 week Ultrasound
Hello cysters! Here's my peanut 16 weeks and 3 days old. The OB-Sono told us it is too early to check / confirm the gender because peanut is still small but just about the right size for his/her age.
we are so excited. Heart rate is 159bpm and peanut is about 5 inches long. Head is bigger though, the doctor said it is normal for the head to be bigger than the body. It usually grows first before the body and the limbs.
For now, because we don't know the gender yet; we call her/him "Peanut" hehehe...

Belly update @ 16 weeks and 1 day
I'm so happy I feel baby wiggle sometimes... he/she is kinda tickles me...
(sorry for this picture...taken at a comfort room...i don't know how to take picture of me in the office w/o asking someone to do it)
