Hello Sisters and Visitors! Long time no blogging...

Here I am again back from whatI use to do when I was still battling with PCOS and Aiming for pregnancy...and my daughter's 1st journey.

To keep you updated...

My husband and I (with Iyah and yaya) moved to a new house in Las Pinas last May 16, 2009.

Of course we have to be settled in first before we get to do out old stuff.. we had destiny cable hooked in and PLDT telephone and DSL activated and clean stuff to get started.

Iyah feels at home now... Im glad that we moved, at least now we can say that we are really independent and building our own family.

It's been a very scary week but very fulfilling indeed!

December 8, 2008 - It really felt weird the day before. Iyah's movement inside me changed and today I felt nothing even if I eat or drink cold juices of sweets. Called my doctor to ask for advice. I was advised to go and have an ultrasound as soon as possible and don't waste time. The scan is called BPS (biophysical profile scoring) where they test the baby's movements, breathing, responsed to stress and other stuff... 8/8 means the baby is doin ok; 6/8 mean there could be a problem and 4/8 means the worst.

The result came back 6/8 and there is a note that my water is not sufficient anymore, baby is small for her destational age and there is no breathing movement found which really scared me to death. I was advised by the sonologist to rush to my doctor or to the Delivery room... so I went...

At the delivery room they checked me out... hooked me on a fetal monitor and checked my BP every hour. My OB decided to perform C Section the next day because of the amount of water I have left inside me and my BP. Baby is still doin okay.

I am starving to death... ate 7am in the morning and nothing else until 10pm that day.

December 9, 2008 - C Section is scheduled at 8:30am today. They took me to the Operating Room at 7am for pre OP procedures... Baby came out at 9:04am and I left the Recovery Room at about 11am back tp my room.

I starved until the next day. I can't speak, eat or drink until the next day. They are still waiting for me to FART... imagine???

Anyway, to cut the story short...

I gave birth to my daughter, SAFIYA SHANNEN, 3.6lbs only and is 2wks premature. She is required to stay in the hospital ... no update yet on when she could go home... I hope within next week...max is Friday Dec 19, 2008.

Please continue to pray for her... i pray i can take her home already... Love you so much baby!

 

My suggestion to all my PCOS sisters. Get rid of all yout excess pounds and soon after you'll be pregnant...

Last saturday my recent check up brought me to shock!

when i arrived the clinic, heard all the other pregnant women waiting and talking about my appearance on TV, kapuso mo jessica soho. I heard them say "siya nga; siya nga yung sa Jessica Soho..."

I felt so embarrased and kinda made my blood pressure shoot up. I also was injected again with Diprospan for baby's lungs. I also lost weight - - imagine 10lbs less than last check up? maybe because of  lack of sleep now that baby is bigger and moving about inside.

During the check up my blood pressure went beyond what we expect; 170/100! Doctor told me it is too high and we might get the baby out early if BP is not controlled. I was thinking oh no it's going to be my birthday... sabay kami ni safiya???

Well... it didn't happen because my BP was controlled the next day with 2 meds and rest. My doctor advised me to take off from work for at least 2 weeks with meds to control my blood pressure.

today is my birthday. A very happy birthday because i had a nice rest and baby moved again... mama cooked my favorite spaghetti w/ spicy chicken wings and my dear hubby brought me my ever dreamed S'MORES cake from Red Ribbon.
